Graduate Hooding Ceremony

This is a special recognition of distinction for graduating graduate students that includes program faculty placing hoods over graduates’ academic regalia. Master's Thesis, Culminating Project and Dissertation titles will be read as graduates cross the stage.

Check-in at the registration table before 7 p.m.

Dating back to the beginning of Mount Mary’s history is the Commencement Mass and Light of Learning ceremony. Held the night before each Commencement, this ceremony features a passing of the “light of learning” lantern. Family and loved ones are invited to enjoy this ceremony. Tickets are not required for this event.
