Minimal Waste, Maximum Impact

Leann Wolf is making more than just clothing designs: she’s making a statement. Wolf will debut her zero-waste collection this May at the Mount Mary CREO: Urban Oasis Student Fashion Show.

Wolf’s project was inspired by a 2024 class design prompt to “upcycle” donated Bucks gear into runway-ready looks. The Fashion student decided to expand upon the idea of sustainable fashion, making it a theme of her senior capstone collection. Wolf tapped into her creativity, designing patterns and pieces digitally to maximize layout efficiency and repurposing fabric scraps into her work.

“Whether you’re an individual creator or a business, I think it’s important to be as sustainable as possible to reduce both waste and costs,” she said. “Finding ways to work with less is a challenge, but definitely worth it.”
