This intensive writing workshop is part of Untold Stories, a two-part event that aims to bring awareness and healing to survivors of sexual or domestic violence or human trafficking. One voice is important because "silence is the enemy of change."

Mount Mary University
Guided by award-winning writers, this intensive testimonial writing workshop will give pre‐selected survivors of sexual or domestic violence or human trafficking a creative and safe environment to develop their own work of poetry, short fiction, or prose.
Participants will showcase their work in a unique format in order to impact the community through individual testimony. This event is held each fall on the Mount Mary University Campus. Hear about Untold Stories on WUWM's Lake Effect.

About the Guides
R. Clifton Spargo is the creator the "Stories We Tell" workshop. He is the literary adviser for The Voices and Faces Project™. An award‐winning writer, Mr. Spargo is the author of the novel Beautiful Fools: The Last Affair of Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald and is an Arts Fellow at the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
