Computer Science

Built for the Real World. Backed by Industry Leaders.

Our Computer Science major is designed to tackle real-world software development challenges and culminates in a hands-on capstone project. Powered by Rize Education, this program was developed in collaboration with experts from top organizations, including Amazon, Google, and Harvard University.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, software developers are among the highest-paid professionals in today’s workforce, earning a median salary of $130,160 (2023). The demand for skilled developers is only growing—with job opportunities projected to increase by a remarkable 25% from 2022 to 2032.

Program Highlights:

Gain practical experience from the very start. Our program is built to:

  1. Be Accessible - Provide a flexible, supportive path into computer science, making it easier for anyone with interest and aptitude to succeed—starting with beginner-friendly courses in coding fundamentals.
  2. Teach Industry-Relevant Skills - Learn tools and practices used by today’s developers, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), unit testing, Git, and modern frameworks like React.js.
  3. Build a Job-Ready Portfolio - Complete projects that demonstrate your skills—so you graduate with more than just knowledge, you graduate with proof of what you can do.

Hybrid Program Advantage: This program includes online courses as part of the curriculum through our partnership with Rize Education. These offer students cutting-edge curriculum, greater scheduling flexibility, access to nationwide experts in the field, and access to even more resume-ready skills.
